About Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach that recognizes stress, trauma, and emotions live not only in the mind, but also in the body.
In sessions, we gently pay attention to sensations, breath, and nervous system responses to help you understand what your body is holding and what it needs to feel safer, more grounded, and supported.
This trauma-informed approach can be especially helpful for anxiety, burnout, creative blocks, relationship stress, and identity exploration, and is well-suited for highly sensitive (HSP), neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking affirming therapy.
I offer 55-minute somatic therapy sessions via secure telehealth for clients across California, including Los Angeles.
In our first session, we’ll collaboratively set goals based on your strengths and needs—whether that’s navigating a life or career transition, deepening self-connection, improving relationships, or reconnecting with your creative voice.
My approach is holistic and tailored, integrating mindfulness, Hakomi, and Parts Work to support emotional regulation, self-compassion, and sustainable personal growth for artists, creatives, and multi-hyphenates statewide.
Rate
My rate for individual therapy sessions is $250 per 55-minute session.
Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, but I also offer bi-weekly sessions, with one spot currently available for this option.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance directly, but my services may be covered in full or partially by your health insurance PPO plan as an out-of-network provider.
To make the process easier and help clients save on therapy costs, I have partnered with Mentaya, a service that assists with reimbursement for out-of-network therapy sessions. You can click here to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
Length of Treatment
Therapy reaches its culmination when our agreed-upon goals are achieved. Duration varies, from months to years, based on evolving goals and therapy's continued benefits. We work together as long as we have clear objectives and therapy remains beneficial.
No Cancellation Policy
Once an appointment is scheduled, it is final and non-cancellable, with no refunds or rescheduling for missed sessions.
However, I offer one "freebie" per year for unannounced cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances. Beyond that, any breaks or time off must be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
Please note, there may also be times when I will take time off for holidays or personal reasons, and I will always give notice when this occurs. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to your mental health journey.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit WWW.CMS.GOV/NOSURPRISES or call 800-985-3059.
