I specialize in working with

  • People exploring witchcraft, paganism, animism, or non-traditional spirituality, and those in the midst of a spiritual awakening or existential shift

  • Anyone who has felt too complex, too much, or simply unseen in traditional therapy spaces

  • Individuals in polyamorous, kink, and ethically non-monogamous relationships who deserve a therapy space that doesn't require justification or explanation

What it costs you to keep waiting

If you keep trying to fit into therapy spaces that weren't built for you, the exhaustion doesn't just stay in the therapy room, it follows you home.

  • You keep translating your desires, your kinks, your gender, your multi-hyphenate life into language a therapist can tolerate, and the part of you that's fluent in your own truth goes quiet.

  • The vigilance from high-control environments doesn't get named or worked through, it just calcifies into a body that's still bracing, still waiting for the other shoe, years after you left.

  • Your beautiful brain, the way it makes connections, moves nonlinearly, holds multiple threads at once, gets pathologized or flattened instead of tracked, so you leave sessions more disconnected from yourself, not less.

  • Relationships strain under the weight of being "too much" everywhere else, because you're spending your therapy hour managing someone else's discomfort with your kink, your queerness, your trans body, instead of being met in it.

  • The parts of you that hold real information: your desire, your somatic memory, your spiritual practice; stay untranslated and unintegrated, because no one in the room can follow you there.

  • Creative work and self-expression narrow, because the energy that could go into making goes into self-surveillance instead.

None of that is inevitable. It's just what happens when the room you're in wasn't built to hold the fullness of who you are.

Together We Can Work On

  • Anxiety, burnout, and chronic overwhelm — including the particular exhaustion of multi-hyphenate and highly sensitive lives, and the high-functioning burnout that high-achieving professionals often carry long past the point of depletion.

  • Family and identity ruptures — including challenges around queerness, gender transitions, spiritual shifts, leaving a religion or community, or being the perpetual "outsider" in your family of origin.

  • Nervous system regulation and somatic awareness — learning to recognize your own patterns of activation, shutdown, and bracing, and building the capacity to feel grounded, resourced, and more at home in your body.

  • Creative blocks, visibility fears, and perfectionism — for artists, performers, healers, and anyone navigating the pressure to produce, stay relevant, or justify a nonlinear path on someone else's timeline.

  • Religious, spiritual, and institutional trauma — including recovery from high-control environments, cult or church harm, academic abuse, and the long process of rebuilding self-trust after systems that undermined it.

  • Neurodivergent and HSP support — including late ADHD or autism diagnosis, unmasking, rejection sensitive dysphoria, sensory overwhelm, and finding ways of working and living that honor your actual wiring.

  • Existential and meaning-making work — including questions of purpose, identity, legacy, and what it means to live authentically when the old maps no longer apply.

  • Career and life transitions — including identity shifts that come with success, pivots, leaving or entering industries, and the existential questions that surface when external achievement no longer feels like enough.

  • Relationship care, communication, and repair within polyamorous, kink, and ethically non-monogamous constellations — including jealousy, compersion, boundaries, emotional labor, and navigating multiple connections with intention.

  • Integrating psychedelic, mystical, and spiritual experiences — developing a framework that honors your intuition, ancestry, and inner knowing, without pathologizing the depth of what you've encountered.

Why Work With Me?

Hello, I'm Edgar — an Indigenous (Wixárika), queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent, and Latinx therapist based in Los Angeles, offering affirming somatic therapy to clients throughout California.

I know what it's like to be told you're "too much," "too sensitive," or that you have to choose one path when you're already living many. I know what it's like to navigate systems — religious, academic, professional — that were never designed for people like us, and to have to rebuild self-trust from the inside out. In my practice, you never have to shrink, simplify, or translate yourself. Your magic, complexity, and contradictions are not just welcome here, they're the starting point.

In this space, all of you is honored: your creative fire, your spiritual depth, your nervous system, your relationships, your desires, your ambitions, your grief, and your dreams. Together, we'll work on emotional resilience, nervous system regulation, trauma healing, creative empowerment, burnout recovery, and the inner clarity needed to live as your whole self, not a curated version of it.

I've spent years building spaces where the ones who feel everything, carry too much, question deeply, and achieve quietly, whether they're queer, neurodivergent, Indigenous, spiritually complex, creatively driven, or navigating the particular loneliness of high achievement, can finally exhale and be fully seen.

My approach integrates somatic therapy, Hakomi, Parts Work, mindfulness, and creative and spiritual frameworks — offering grounded, body-centered care that honors your inner knowing and supports real, lasting transformation.

Telehealth sessions available to clients across California, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.

Who I've Worked With

Clients often come to me feeling lost, misunderstood, or like they've had to fragment themselves to be legible to the world: their pain, their identities, their way of seeing and dreaming about themselves in it, unvalidated everywhere else.

Many arrive carrying what feels like insurmountable weight: imposter syndrome, burnout, disorganization, relational stress, or the leftover residue of high-control environments that taught them not to trust their own inner knowing.

I help you slow down enough to hear the truth you already hold within, and I create the safety for your protective parts, the fear, the dysregulation, the parts that learned to brace, to finally soften and unburden themselves.

From there, you're the one who takes the small steps, and you're the one who feels them slowly compound into something undeniable.

Clients describe this process as visionary and deeply affirming. They've made life-changing decisions they once didn't feel courageous enough to make, moved through fears that felt permanent, and walked away with a far deeper sense of meaning and trust in their own life.

What to Expect When Working Together

How We Begin

We start with a free 15-minute call. No pressure, no pitch, just a real conversation about what you're navigating and whether this feels like the right fit for both of us.

If it feels right, I'll typically get you scheduled for your first session within a few days to a week. Sessions happen weekly, virtually, anywhere in California, so this can fold into a touring schedule, a chaotic studio practice, or a nontraditional workweek without friction.

New to therapy altogether? That's welcome too; you don't need to know how to "do" this, we'll figure out the rhythm together as we go.

Coming from another therapist? That's common and welcome; tell me what worked, what didn't, and we build from where you actually are, not from zero.

Already working with a psychiatrist, psychic, astrologer, energy worker, hypnotist, or other healer? I integrate around what you have, not instead of it. This blending of therapy with other kinds of support is something I care deeply about, in fact, it's exactly what I spoke about with Vogue (click on Vogue photo to read the full article); you can see more of my press features by clicking the image below.
