Gender Affirming Care
Gender Affirming Care
What Is Gender Affirming Care?
You are valid. Your identity matters. I offer a therapeutic space that supports your gender journey. Whether you’re exploring, affirming, transitioning, or simply reclaiming your body and story, this is somatic therapy that meets you where you are, honors your creativity, and nervous-system healing.
Who This Is For
If you are a queer, trans, nonbinary, or gender-expansive person navigating life in Los Angeles, or from anywhere in California, this care is for you.
I specialize in supporting folks who:
Have histories of invisibility, misgendering, or relational trauma
Engage creatively or spiritually, and want therapy that respects your art, your ritual, your lineage
Are navigating medical, legal, relational, or identity questions around gender — AND want to ground that in body-based healing
Are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, polyamorous/kink-aware, or living outside normative timelines
Want therapy where your gender identity isn’t a side-note but a vital part of who you are
This service is available exclusively to California residents through secure telehealth sessions.
Rate
I offer gender-affirming letters at no additional cost; however, we will need to meet for at least 5 sessions to ensure a thorough, well-informed understanding of your needs.
Each session is 55 minutes long and costs $250.
These sessions are conducted via secure video call or phone, providing accessible and private support wherever you are in California.
Additionally, care coordination with other health professionals is available for $75 per consultation to ensure that your care plan is comprehensive and aligned with your needs.
Insurance
I don’t accept insurance directly, but my services may be partially or fully covered if you have a PPO health insurance plan. As an out-of-network provider, I can provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
For additional support, I’ve partnered with Mentaya, an optional service that can help you with the reimbursement process and potentially save on therapy costs.
You can click here to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
To get started, you can schedule a free 15-minute call to ask any questions or discuss further details.
No Cancellation Policy
Once an appointment is scheduled, it is final and non-cancellable, with no refunds or rescheduling for missed sessions. However, I offer one "freebie" per year for unannounced cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances.
Beyond that, any breaks or time off must be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Please note, there may also be times when I will take time off for holidays or personal reasons, and I will always give notice when this occurs. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to your mental health journey.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit WWW.CMS.GOV/NOSURPRISES or call 800-985-3059.
